sorry to disturb you again :o
=> do you know if there is a way to allow the two AI of the mod to appear in multiplayer ?
(only default AI appear in the choices, no carmen and no françois)
i was digging in the files and on internet, but i have found only a way to duplicate AIs here: https://forums-de.ubisoft.com/…I-Human-flagships-at-once!)
but these changes are not "adding" the 2 new AIs as choices in MP
(as you can see and check, carmen and françois do not appear in MP choices)
Thanks for the suggestions. But for the player I prefer a graphically fixed coat of arms.

imagine flags like this one (back would not be black but the player colors OR only the characters could be colored by player's chosen color)

PS: symbols are real nice, still prefer default one, but really better than IAAM one !
=> the one you made for AIs are really what i love ! "symbols which can be colored and adapted to any colors !": perhaps having this idea of all human symbols too would be really awesome
(you know like color-able eagle, lion, horse, shield, weapons, family symbols, venice symbols, pirate symbols, so we can fully roleplay all SBM factions: occident, orient, venician, pirate...)
juste imagine what we could do with these kind of symbols ? (like the AI style you made !) examples:
- eagle symbols with purple color
- pirate/corsair symbols with black colors
- other animals, venice or pirate (generic or specific) symbols !

im hunting down a bug in the mod i met since i installed it
(even when i installed the mod without modifying it)
=> beggars keep leaving on the street and refuse to go in their "house", even if i fill every needs
(= constant orange bar)
any hint ?

with your changes, everything is fine, but i tried to change the colors of the AI (like bringing back lucius into red color) in aiprofile.xml
but the color doesnt change and still stay as a strange saturated violet color (which we dont even have as player sadly)
i dont understand what i did bad as this area was working fine without the mod, is the AI color coded differently ?

Ihave reset the symbols and emblems to original texture....
In the link ,which I attach here, there are two packed files.
A folder "addon" and a folder "maindata"
- Unzip these archives.
- There you will find the changed "rda-files"
- Replace the "rda's" in the corresponding game folder.
- Start the game without using "preferlocalfiles".

i wont ask this each time you would update your mod, but considering i have elements to compare with this extra work, i would be able to adapt if i need it

note: "preferedlocalfiles" has no effect at all as long as uncompressed files are not the one from the same rda file

there is no easy way to return the standard symbols.
Also, I'm not sure exactly which symbols you mean.
Pictures of the symbols you describe would have been helpful here.
So I can only speculate.
Some symbols can be found in the "maindata\data2\data\graphics\iaam\gui".
In addition then still in "maindata\data2\data\graphics\iaam\icons"
Then also still the names to the symbols would have to be adapted.
Since you surely play the English version you will find in "maindata\eng0\data\loca\eng\txt"
in the text file "names" some things which have to be returned.

1) by returning to standard symbols i simply mean to have the default game choices (tower, key, etc...)
like the 2 last choices from venice which stayed untouched by the mod (yay ! at least 2 of them !)
2) if there are no easy way to revert back, but if there is a list of "complicated" things to do to revert back, it would interest me too ! (depending on the amount of changes to do, i can see if its possible for me or not)
=> i already tried to replace the new icons by the old one, but the new symbols still appear in menus and do not appear on ships because their sails are colored same as the symbols so it seems i have to look also elsewhere but i dont know where
(its annoying to not have the too colored sails with overload of symbols painted on them default classic one are not too intrusive but can be fully identified)
3) im aware of the translation and area to edit names, thats not a problem, my problem is the actual symbols => isnt there a way to add the old symbols as new options ? or simply target different symbol's files from an xml file ?
4) the "preferedlocalfile" option is in engine.ini and allows the game to put a priority on uncompressed files and load their changes over the rda files
if anyone got any deeper hint, im still open for anything

i have a question, i have looked into every files of the mod, but i dont see a way to revert back to default profile symbols/emblems
i tried to replace the MOD symbols by the DEFAULT ones, but it doesnt change anything
im really not fond of the realistic royal banners and loved default possible edits
=> how can i edit the mod (the simplest way) in order to have default game symbols/emblems ?
1) where to look ?
2) what to edit ?
3) if i have to compress back rda files: which files types should i compress ?
(note: i use "preferlocalfiles" option for other edits)
